hi all-
ive been playing at neutral stadiums for a bit, so this is my first foray into hitters parks. i'm wondering which, out of these SP, is the best fit for anaheim:
Dravecky
Key
Welch
Fat Sid
thanks!

Phat Sid. That guy has really grown on me. He'll give up his share of dingers but he'll also pin down opponents' BA to help offset that. He's also a reverse lefty so that helps his cause even more.
I like Jimmy Key to a certain extent but his problem has to do with being stronger against LH hitting. Problem is that he's certain to face far fewer lefties in the 80's game than what it would take for him to be successful all the time.
I don't like Welch at all. He has never attained a level of performance worthy of his salary for me in a DH league.
Dravecky suffers the same fate as Jimmy Key but he can't pitch on 3 days rest. Kind of expensive since you can expect Jimmy Key performance for 5 + million bucks and not be able to pitch him as often as Key.

I don't love any of them all that much... Sid's cards look great but I have had one of his best cards underperform badly for me. Key can be real good but I think he is a 50% chance to be effective. I have dropped him about half the time in hitters' parks. I never tried Welch. I like Dravecky as a secondary option once I have committed to a 5-man rotation. I will always try Perez, Boyd, and Denny and a cast of 5day cheapies before going to Dravecy.

Don't listen to these guys Jimmy. If you want to rock Fat Sid, go for it! Get Pascual Perez, John Denny, Vida Blue, and a couple five-man cheapies to keep him company.
