Pitching in the Kingdom

Playing my first team in the Kingdom and I'm looking for some pitching ideas headed into the waivers.
Currently I have Browning, Gullickson, Hoyt, Johnson and Schrom (the last two came in the autodraft).
Bullpen is Dayley, Moore, Kipper, Howell and Allen.
Who is good and who isn't in the dome.?

I would try to replace the entire rotation. None are good fits for K-dome. Who to replace them with depends on who is available and how much you want to spend. Jackson, Leibrandt, Forsch can all be good. If you are looking to spend more, Ruess, and Bosio can work. It isnt a bad idea to have at least 1 stud SP to trust. Its tough to go with an all 'bargain' pen. You have to get pretty lucky with them. Your pen will get over worked in the K-dome.

I think Panzer is right that your starters are probably not great fits for the Kdome.. but I have seen Browning do well there... and I think he is one of the most underrated SPs, and truly a great play for a pitchers park... but he wouldn't be my first choice for Kdome.

This team is a 6-man .75m rotation with good RP and tons of hitting. You need to out hit the other team in the kingdome. I actully thinh Schrom is a nice pitcher for the money. he has never let me down, but then the expectations are low.

After a couple of failed experiments in the Dome, I've gone a different way with some early success. I went for 2 big starters - Sutton and Hershiser - and some relatively cheap guys, like Craig Swan and Scott Terry. Hershiser was dumped for Fat Sid. I'm hitting the ball, but not like YF. Staff has a 4.22 ERA and 1.28 WHIP. Not bad anywhere.

Love that team, YF, and will model my next one after it. Gotta add that extra hitter or two...........

Thanks for the info, I'll post a link to the team after the waivers draft.
I love Swan and use him whenever possible and he is on my list of waiver targets.
And I've had a lot of luck with Browning including my only no-hitter, but I'll probably try to dump him and Gullickson for a couple of stud SPs, Saberhagen and Higuera, and look for some help in the bullpen.

HOYT is very very bad in the Kingdome. see all those BPHRs in the middle of his cards?

Who else is available pitching-wise?

Hoyt is a no-go. Great for pitching parks, bad for hitting parks and unbalanced line-ups.

Higgie available?

Also, besides your pitching needs - [b:8d26182477]why are you carrying two expensive catchers [/b:8d26182477]when you have (it appears three players capable of playing 1B - unless you are placing Clark in the OF)?

I'd look for a few more "power" bats on this crew by losing your second catcher and take another LHB who can has max # BPHR on his card.

Not a lot left in pitching.
Len Barker may be my next option.
Tettleton is actually another LHB for my line-up and my platoon with Phelps for now.
And Clark is going to play LF.
