I forget who it was. Was it Adam? Anyway he posted that he was unavailable Saturday so he was going to wait till Friday to put his team in which will push the waivers to Sunday when he would be available.

Not cool though to consider the 11 other folks who will be with family possibly on Easter Sunday and will now miss waivers.

He should not make decisions like that w/o asking the rest of the league.

Actually Sykes, Adam posted about 5 days ago that he wouldn't be in until Friday. Nobody said anything at the time.

It is not like no one would be available Sunday at 5:00. I am not in your league but if I was I would be available. Different people have different commitments. I think he did the right thing in doing what was best for him.

If you worried about other people's schedules you could go crazy. Let's see....there is a Jewish holiday on that day so I can't do it then. The next day this other owner will be on vacation so I can't do it then. I can't do it the next day either because this other owner has to.......

Actually my league's waivers run tonight. I was hoping for Saturday because my Father had invited me over for dinner and cards on Friday. When I saw that this league was going to have waivers on Friday I called him up and changed it to Saturday night. He had no idea I changed it for my SOM team! :wink: I know you can't change Easter but I think you know what I am talking about.

i,ll be 50 in august and still get a wierd feeling when somebody mentions doing something with their dad.mine passed when i was 6 and i still miss doing things with him when i see(or hear) others doing with theirs.i,m a dad of 5 girls though and none of them got my baseball genes..
just to say,some of the BEST things in life are free is an understatement....

It does kind of suck. I'm not going to be around for the beginning of League 3's frenzy, but I didn't consider putting it off. Hopefully, it will all work out for everyone.

Easter is coming Sunday but Passover week began Wednesday night and usually means that Thusday was a pretty busy family day for those that might celebrate that holiday as well.

Whatever. I'm sure somebody would have missed it regardless. I was trying to be an advocate for others and not just myself.

I can miss waivers w/o a problem as I expect to get 75% of my draft card anyways. I can make due with leftovers.

I did not recall seeing his post 5 days ago, and only chimed in here as the original poster must have missed that 5 day old post as well.
