Game 2 of the season, Murphy goes down for 2 days against a lefty by Line Out. So, he is either in his 5R year or his bad year, right? How many PAs are required for there only to be a 1 game injury? I thought it was 680 and of course Murphy's 5R year has 679 ABs! Either way, should I dump Murphy now? In his 5R year I guess he is still better than any sub I can get, but I am not sure if tying up 7million is worth a 50% chance at a good card. Then again, Guidry and Black are the only LH SPs in my division!

For the record Murphy is hitting .500 against righties with a HR (4ABs) and .000 against lefties (3 ABs) but I am pretty sure 7ABs are not enough to make a determination on.

someone else dumped Chet Lemmon after the first 3 game series with no injuries and a .167 BA. Moseby and the other D.Murphy are also available. This is tournament bracket #1 so there really aren't any prizes on the free agent list, maybe I should just wait some more. Any help would be appreciated as I am way overmatched in this league

I think you have to give Dale more time. (In spite of the bad luck I have had with him). :?
Bat him a little lower in the order vs LH and give him some ABs. His card is still better than anything you will find in the FA wire.

can a player be injured for more than the game he is in if he played 162 games that season-or is it purely based on PAs?

It's solely based on ABs + BBs, regardless of how many games on the card.
