Let me try this again

Maybe I didn't do this right. I was asking for some help from the community about my team. Got 18 views and not one single response. My team is 23-40 and in 3rd place and in Jarry Park
My lineup:
M Alou
Belanger
White
Santo
Hisle
Torre
Hundley
Hunt
My team is hitting .248 and an OBP of .300
My SP* are Lolich, Jenkins, Briles, and G Jackson - seem ok except for Jenkins. My closer is Wilhelm when he gets a chance.
Do I change the lineup, dump some players(not much to pick from),
or just hang in there. For future teams any advice?
I would appreciate a response - of any sort

lineup

I think the reason no one answered is we're all trying to figure it out too. I don't know what Hunt-Belanger and Alou are batting for avg. But if it were my team I would try putting 1. Belanger-2.Hunt and3. Alou third with the great avg. Place Hunt on bunt more in indiv settings and hope for alot of RBI's from Alou and all your big guns that follow. Just out of curiosity what does your pen look like?? Are they losing it for your starters?? On paper I like your starters just wondering what you have in the pen besides Wilhelm. Who sets up from each side etc. A player that I have noticed and will always try to get in future drafts is Cesar Tovar. What a great all around 5 category guy who is cheap and fits at the top of any lineup. Larry

suggestions

OK I went back and checked up on some of your players season numbers. IMO Roy White is a waste at 7+ Mil and a lousy arm. Your outfield consists of two +2 arms and o from Hisle in RF if that is where you're playing him. It is ok to have a +2 in CF but you have to put a cannon or two beside him or the other teams will run crazy on you. If I were plaing this team I would be running like a jack-rabbitt on your outfield. Also I myself am not real high on Hisle with a .266 avg. there is not alot you can do with him and he makes alot of errors. IMO I would dump Hisle and White then you have some serious money to get two Good outfielders beside Alou and I think your team takes off. Just my opinion--Take it or leave it. Larry
