New Metro team

Oks, couldn;t get anyone interested in a DH league so switched this team to a no dh auto league. Waivers is over and FA is now on. I didn't expect to get 2 second baseman in waiver draft. I might use them as a combo since they both can go down for 15 games. Though of course it will be an expensive combo. Hard 3rd pick in waiver draft.

Feel free to rip this team apart and make suggestions. Buford is the starting 3rd baseman with Davenport for defense.

I would dump Peterson. You could use the $ to upgrade / platoon RF, if there's anyone available. Fritz is good, but he'll probably get hit @ the Met.

Any catchers left besides Grote? He's good, but I'd look for a bit more power. Hendricks could hit well here.

The 2B combo, IMO, needs to go. I would also use Buford in LF, not 3B. Too many errors.

Decent team. I would try to trade of one your 2Bs. A decent backup costing around $1.5 million or so would be all that you need if you could upgrade your OF with such a trade.

Too many guys in the pen - waive 2 or 3 for one solid arm. HAL will use the inferior arms rather than Roland much too often.

I do like the combo of Epstein, Bonds, Buford, Northrup and whichever 2B you settle on. Lokks like a playoff contender with a few tweaks...

RF Northup (AD for Aaron)

Just droped Otis didn't think I needed both him and Voss.

Have plenty of time to crunch numbers and see how this team really looks. :)

Like should I be worried that my backup Ss right now is Johnson?
