"That's a good way to finish up every day," said Manager Jackie Moore, explaining why he has his players take extra cuts to end practice. "You go to an event and they finish up with fireworks."

Canseco usually hits last and, said Moore, "Everybody is having fun except little Mike (a ball boy) up there on the hill fielding balls. He's playing about as deep as he can play unless he goes to the zoo."

The Phoenix Zoo is across the street from the park, but it may not be out of Canseco's range.
