Coming off an impressive World Series victory last year, the Royals seem to have difficulty defending their crown. One reason may be the recent discovery that Royals stadium was constructed on an ancient Wyandotte Indian burial ground. The powerful aura knocks down 90% of all would-be homeruns.

"This wasn't a problem last year," remarked the homerless Steve Balboni. "Maybe we shouldn't have taunted the baseball gods so much last fall."

Staff architects have been fired and Royals GM Brooks Melchior seems willing to trade BP homeruns for some OBP.
