Scott's perfomance on the mound was inspiring. He allowed just 2 baserunners... a hit batter in the 2nd inning, and then a 7th inning single by Jerry Mumphrey that broke up the no hit bid.

Scott finished with 14 strikeouts. He also added capped off the Astros scoring for the night, contributing an RBI triple in the 8th inning.
