Hitters all underperforming...

Postby Kergillian » Sun May 11, 2008 1:30 am

How is it that my entire roster is hitting 30-50 points under their averages...? I know that random chance is always a factor in this game, but in the dice game I've never encountered such a huge anomaly.

My pitchers are all within a reasonable distance of their actual stats, but my hitters are far and beneath their actual calibre...

Are you playing in Royals or the Astrodome? If your hitter's tallied their real life stats in a hitter's park and you have them in the Astrodome they will obviously hit less than what they did.

My home stadium is not a hitter-friendly park (The Olympic Stadium) but the hitters are underperforming as much on the road as at home.

And I've lost dozens of 1-run games as a result...
