Hitting streaks

Who has the longest hitting streak so far. Anyone nearing 50?

I helped Moose compile the records for the 1969 game (which have not been fully compiled yet). I was given 15 leagues to record the records for. In the 15 leagues I looked through the longest hitting streak was 30 games for Boog Powell.

I have Lou Brock. He is at 27 now. That'll end as I just jinxed him!!!

In 1 of the leagues I'm in that wrap up regular season tonight Paul Blair had a 36 game hitting streak. Not for me though.
