Well your not in my division so I'll give my two cents worth. First of all you should only carry 24 or 25 players as this allows you to maximize your cash. On this same note you are spending alot of money duplicating with bench players for instance Garvey 1B and Morelad OF and Sundberg. I know the player pool is very thin in 86 conpared to ATG IV but I would consider dropping some of these guys for 50 cent players and shore up your starting picthing. I think Terrell is a little weak. But hey the good news is that we are in a 5/10/20 drop league so for the first 40 games you will only incur a 5% penalty when you drop a player. So you have time to see how your team does before you make a move. Also I forgot we are in a DH :twisted: league so you could also use some of that cash to pick up a good DH. Anyhow it was just a few thoughts. Good luck and I'll see you on the field!

I've gotta agree w/ Ed.

I'd be very uncomfortable with the makeup of your pitching staff. Terrell is superfluous. You've already got 4 SP* who are much better. You also need more LH slugging. Garvey isn't really useful to you unless he's your DH v LHP. I'd want a LHRP with a hard L balance and a RHRP with a hard R balance in my bullpen. I always like Young and Russell for that as you can see in the link below, but there are others that work, too.

Your low OBP and lack of LH Power are killing you. Dump McReynolds. Dump Garvey. Dump Sundberg. Dump Orta, Pendleton, Nettles, and Iorg. Pick up Barry Bonds at CF. Try to get Darrell Evans at 3B or somebody else who gets on base. Trade Winfield for Gibson. Hrbek can play 1B full time. Moreland can DH vs LH and be your backup catcher. Pick up Dave Clark as your LH DH. Bat him 4th. Exchange Lollar for Sambito. Reardon for Burke (those #HRs will kill you). Maddox and Niekro should not be on your team no matter how much you liked them as players. Pray.
