Looks like a statistical-based "voting" mechanism.
I've seen many inconsistencies (Pitcher at the top of the Cy Young "vote" but behind another pitcher in the MVP "vote", Strikeouts over-emphasized in Cy Young "votes", etc.), but usually interesting to look at during the season.
