1969 RAISE THE MOUND! No hitters >2M -drafting

Our historical single season sets

And I predict, just cause I am lacking sleep and punchy:

Poppa Rock will win at least 75% of his starts against lefties

ugrant will win the east

Tatum will save 40-45 games - who will score off him?

Walt Williams and Marty Martinez (if he starts regularly) will finish in the top ten for BA, one possibly winning the batting title

Woody will battle Steve Whitaker for the HR title

Dierker will take the Cy Young

"Downtown" Ike Brown will have 75 RBI (if he starts)

All perfectly senseless proedictions, but fun anyway...

Predictions are fun. :D

Just wondering why would Dierker win the Cy Young over Marichal or Gibson on my team who will be pitching in Forbes and have an excellent defensive team (for this league) behind him? I only start one 4 on defense and that is in RF. Maybe it is because I won't score any runs?

No particular logic, and no offense meant to anyone. I have just had better luck w/ Dierker and the balance of hitting vs. pitching maybe affected the call. Plus the fact that I looked at the teams for a full four minutes in making these calls...

Personally I like your projection about me winning 75 percent against left-handers.
However, you made no such pronogstication about right-handers. LOL.
Maybe I'll face 120 left-handers this year.
Honestly, I just tried to put together the team with the best projected batting average I possibly could.

What I can never figure out, is what kind of stadium to use.
And I'm still figuring out how to put together line-ups in Strato On-Line. I know it's not like real baseball.

Franky in response to a question I just saw

I go a couple of times a year to a villa I partially own South of Florence and west of Siena. I was flying from Chicago in a Naples manor home and then in a car travelling from Pompeii to Tuscany before I knew draft had started. RJ
