It seems good infielders are mighty scarce. My team's hands are made of bricks- is it all relative?

Yes, sir. Gloves were hard to find during that expansion year. Unless you want to draft all Orioles, but they are expensive.

On the other hand, lots of quirky platoon players and not a lot of talent in which every team is loaded with studs (ala the ATG/ATG2 Leagues).

Leagues are competitive and I enjoy them because most of these players were the stars of my childhood.
