I like the way you think: I've staffed up some pretty similar teams. Sometimes they klunk, but most have been pretty competitive. I tend to put them in Metropolitan or Fulton, to max out the power edge, but Wrigley should do you fine.
Three thoughts:
1. Selma/Woodson: These guys may get a little beat up in Wrigley, with their BPHRs. Are there other guys out there in their range with fewer #'s? I'd look for them. (Ray Washburn's pretty good; even Mike Torrez can be decent.)
2. Dick Green: I've never used him, so for all I know he'll do fine, but I think you might be better off with McAuliffe. More power, and he'll add L/R balance. Sometimes he's on the wire, because of his price & injury risk. Or maybe the guy who has him is in more of a pitcher's park, and would do a deal.
3. I've used that exact catcher platoon, and found it reasonably productive. But, if you can manage it, I'd suggest adding Price or Pavelitch as the principle side of the platoon v. LHP (maybe keeping Elle to facilitate in-game switches, and/or to start v. LHP in pitcher's parks.) Gibson is good in that role, too, if you decide to move Elle to a reduced role and don't want to spend almost $1 mil. on that piece.
Good luck!
