Paul Blair is way overpriced IMO. We will see if rose is overpriced or not, I am using him in a league that I had a bunch of money left in. It was his career year, he can not get hurt and he has great D. Everyone said Ernie Banks was overpriced when ATG II came out.

I just looked at Hicks' card and F.O.X. is right. It is hard to imagine that you could actually use a player's card who only hit .083 for the year!

[quote:59add5f6fa]Catfish Hunter at 1.64 You've got to be kidding!!!! [/quote:59add5f6fa]

he is horrible against Lefties so yeah, he should be worth much. Marichal is WAY over priced if you consider that you can pick up three non-* SPs to almost get his performance!!!

1 on D is very important when there isnt many other choices. That alone carries a big permium.

I agree with Penngray on Paul Blair. His combination of defense and offense makes him a very nice CF'er in this set. The players who I think are probably slightly over priced are Rose and Wynn for what I believe to be the same reason, but working in opposite directions.

I can't justify Rose's price for the offense he produces compared to the hitters he is priced with, therefore that Gold Glove in RF must have a premium attached to it, that at this point I am not willing to pay. Wynn in my opinion is over priced because his defense in CF hasn't downgraded his price enough. When comparing him to the afformentioned Paul Blair, Blair's defense covers most of the offensive production gap in these two players, yet is over $1 mil less.

In most cases of major pricing issues, I think it is ones opinion on how to value defense that determines who we think the bargains/busts are.

Jack Hiatt at $2.75 is waaaaay overpriced. Unless you are looking for a walk. If Max Bishop were a 3, this would be his card.
