If you get McCovey, Robinson and Jackson, you can just platoon Jackson and Robinson.

Might wanna back of on Frank Robby - I heard he just suffered a lacerated face/lip and broken rear window in a 2am one car accident 50 feet from his driveway.

Or sweeten your offer with a new set of golf clubs?

That makes Robby more attractive... controversy is good for ticket sales!!

A fun twist to discuss

Postby Rjnewman » Tue Dec 08, 2009 12:15 pm

Make all the work that goes into this league last even longer. At the end of season you get to keep under contract up to 15 guys each and then live draft the rest with same cap. Draft order in inverse of regular season records. Rosters only then limited by normal strat rules i.e you can carry more than 25 if you like. Drop adds allowed with normal penalty for players on roster not kept only. No trades.

[quote:2b43b1a0c6="gfdwarf07"]gorshar is going for Mccovey and Jackson - 25.5% of his payroll. But still less than the Twins will have to pay Mauer as a % of theirs. :P[/quote:2b43b1a0c6]

No doubt there!! I've got season tickets (well, partials) to the Twins, looking forward to some outdoor baseball next year!

Well, I've got a deal for you. Any time you have an extra ticket I will help out! I miss the old Met a lot, even though the WS were fun in the dome, but I am pumped about Target Field. I used to have a 20 game package but budget cuts at home sent it away.

That's what I've got, the 20 game package. This will probably be the last year I keep them though, and just start going to 3-4 games a year after that. They don't give you many good dates in the 20 game pack, the last couple of years it's been a lot of Thursday noon games or Tue/Wed night games.
All the tickets are spoken for at the moment, but things change and I'll let you know if they do! :)
