Our historical single season sets

4 hour clock beginning Monday AM. This should allow everyone time to post proxies once the position for each round is stated.

Hopefully once Martin makes his SS pick on Penn's site a whole bunch of proxies will kick in and all of a sudden we will be in the 3rd round! I know....but I am trying to be optimistic here.

Everyone who has been making their 3B selections in this post should also be setting up that player in a proxy on Penn's site to help facilitate this draft.

Remember to group your proxy picks. If you haven't picked a SS yet put all your SS in group 1, 3B in group 2, etc. and select "Delete if group picked". This will delete the remaining players in that group once you have selected a player in that group for your team. That way you won't draft 2 players from the same position. :)

good call LMBombers. I checked my list and had Bill Hands in round 1, as I punched in the wrong #.

Martin, You made your SS selection and now you are up again for your 3B pick. Please use proxies when you will be away from your computor if you have a chance.

Round 3

Postby LMBombers » Mon Dec 12, 2005 7:46 am

As Round 3 slowly approaches (emphasis on slowly) please be carefull when making your 1B selections. Make sure that 1B is the first listed position of the player you select. Many of the top salaried guys that are 1B elligible do not have 1B as their first position on their cards. Players not elligible to be drafted as a 1B include:

Frank Robinson
Hank Aaron
Cleon Jones
Harmon Killebrew
Willie Stargell
Mike Hegan
Carl Yastremski
Frank Howard
Carl Taylor

You can draft these players at their other positions and play them at 1B when the season starts but you can't draft them in the 1B round of the draft.

All good Martin....JUST DON't DO IT AGAIN!! :P

Looks like we got into the 2nd round.

Lets all load proxies to the 4th round. Remember Sykes is waiting to see what will be picked, and then announce the 5th round, when he is ready.

Let's get it started!

Have you have heard of a snake draft where the draft positions go 1 to 12 in round 1 and 12-1 in round 2 and so forth? I think this draft should be called the snail draft due to it's speed.

If you are not going to be near a computer please PROXY!

If we are using a clock at all then Pope is way overdue.

Thanks
