If your starter does not have * that means he can start every five games correct?Secondly if you have say a relief pitcher with a 2 inning rating how is his use limited by rule. For example can he pitch three games in a row?Thanks in advance while we wait for the next pick...

1) a * means that the pitcher can start every 4th game (i.e., with 3 rest days). No * means 4 rest days between starts

2) I don't understand the relief rules.

I think he gets tired after 2 innings and starts giving up hits after 2 innings where before he was tired they were outs

If I remember the board game correctly say your pitcher is a 2 and he's pitching into his third inning after the 4th hit, walk or hbp happens within 2 innings of going past his rating ( 2 ) he gets tired and outs become hits on his card. I think the positions on the pitcher card that become hits are marked with @

I understand pitchers tiredness. I was asking about say using the same relief pitcher three games in a row for example.

HAL makes all relief decisions based on your manager settings. As far as I know relief pitchers can throw every day.

OK, we are into round 4. I never imagined it would take as long as it has, but the proxy thing kills us. But we have a fighting chance of getting done next weekend and opening the season next Monday (2/16). If for some reason we extend beyond that, I have four days that I will be out of town starting next Thursday the 19th.

So I'd really like to have Wednesday evening the 18th as our "drop dead" goal to get the draft finished, if at all possible. Then we can enter our teams by division and start the season no later than the 23rd. If it's earlier, great.

Any other major time conflicts out there?

I think that you are right here.

Pitcher fatigue (as far as I know) does NOT carry over from game to game and I've seen some reliefers throw multiple games in a row.

I've seen relievers pitch 200+ innings with no loss of effectiveness over the course of the season. If you read the FAQ it says fatigue becomes an issue during a game after they have exceeded their relief rating. Starters have the same issue during a game as well.
