1999: Riggo’s Bragging Rights League (AL vs. NL)

Our historical single season sets

All Points Bulletin for RWhite411

Postby RiggoDrill » Thu Jan 21, 2010 12:53 am

I'm putting out an APB for [b:b6a2a7b8cf]RWhite411 [/b:b6a2a7b8cf]- he last posted to the thread on December 13th. If we don't hear from him within 24 hours, his slot is up for grabs.

Everyone, please take a quick look at your leagues and send a message to [b:b6a2a7b8cf]RWhite411 [/b:b6a2a7b8cf]if you see one of his teams.

Once again, I appreciate everybody's patience.

Thanks, riggo

APB for RWhite411

Postby gbrookes » Thu Jan 21, 2010 2:32 am

He was in a league I'm in, that just finished the regular season. He isn't in the playoffs, so hopefully he just checks in to see what's happening.

I sent him an email with !!'s marked throughout, to get his entry in ASAP or he may lose his spot.

Geoff

PS Riggo (and others, for your input) thanks for the adaptation on the deadline for fixing rosters for proper leagues. Sounds good!

RWhite acknowledged my email message this morning.

I assume this means he will be entering his team shortly.

[quote:ff2f23600d="RiggoDrill"]So let's say you should have all players from your own league on your roster by [b:ff2f23600d]Midnight (Pacific Time) of day after waivers runs - that's 34 hours after waivers[/b:ff2f23600d]. ...and obviously we don't have a SWAT team waiting to swoop in for any minor infraction of rules. Basically, it's an honor system to be in compliance.

Thanks for everyone's feedback.

This is fine by me unless the games start and our rosters get locked before the 34 hours are up. I am not sure if that can happen but if the lst two teams get their rosters in by tonight I believe the draft will happen shortly after midnight tonight (12am fri) will there be time for the waivers to go through AND give us the 34 hours? I have not played in over a year so my timing is off.

With durantjerry hopefully filling out the last spot today, waivers will run Sunday night. Which mean the season would start Monday, so a tighter window to get the rosters straightened out.
