To be safe and avaoid over-bidding, take Bob's spreadsheet (which is GREAT, by the way) and fill in 0.5 for all positions and your stadium. That way you are tracking dollars available to bid over the minimum. I think most already do this. In fact, we could even make the default sheet do that, couldn't we Bob?

On my sheets, I already have a calculation of "average amount to spend remaining" for each owner. It is at the bottom of each owner's sheet and it takes the remaining cap money divided by the number of players yet to be drafted (each team MUST keep 10 pitchers and 15 hitters and 1 stadium throughout the season).

For example, to-date, my team has spent $72.0. I have $28 left to spend on 18 roster spots and 1 stadium ($1.474 per roster spot and stadium).
