Our historical single season sets

Thanks for the kind words, but I'm sure you've beat me in plenty of leagues.

I'm starting Carty in left.

I think the best two combos taken in this draft were StL-Pitt and Oak-LA. Those teams fit together really well.

I have never seen a Balt-SD combo win it. Maybe this will be the year, but Baltimore's sluggers don't do great in a pitcher's park. I think the Pirates-Padres is a better combination.

Leo missed the boat that day he left the shack
But that was all he missed and he ain't comin' back
A tombstone bar in a jukejoint car, he made a stop
Just long enough to grab a handle off the top
Next stop Chi town, Leo put the money down and let it roll

He said one more job ought to get it
One last shot 'fore we quit it
One more for the road

Leo, whoa-oh-oh-oh
He's for the money, he's for the show
Leo's waitin' for the go
Leo, whoa-oh-oh-oh
He said one more job ought to get it
One last shot 'fore we quit it
One more for the road

Leo be runnin', havin' great big fun, until he got the note
Sayin' toe the line or blow, and that was all she wrote
He be makin' like a beeline, headin' for the borderline
Goin' for broke

Sayin' one more hit ought to do it
This joint ain't nothin to it
One more for the road

It appears that Yaz would put Gordie over the 80M cap, so I'll take him when my pick comes up next.
I'll check back in later on this evening.

I know my Balt pads team is going to stink... I just hope for 60 wins.

Before ANY draft picks are taken, Gordie has protected his initial 18 players and the salaries total $74,080,000. This leaves him a total of $5,920,000 for the 7 draft picks (~ $841K per player).

Jettblack is correct; Yaz can't be drafted by Gordie.

**We all need to watch our rosters as they develop throughout the draft. We have $80 Mill to fill 25 roster spots (meeting the usual criterion of 10P, 15 H, at least 2 Catchers, At least 5 Starting Pitchers, etc.). It can and will be tricky.**

I assume you can correct your team prior to the autodraft, as long as you adhere to the 7-11 format and pick players not otherwise chosen (wanna dump T Horton, now I have Yaz).
