2 comments. First, apparently some of you know Pelzer to be a selfless humanitarian devoting his life to helping the poor and sick. But ducking out of the league he started looks like a wienie move to me.

Second, I still feel the Cubs got a raw deal and they should be allowed 0.99 mil free agents at SP and C because that was the rule at the time of signup. I'm not really feeling it for the ChiSox because most of the 0.50 mil free agents are not going to help and could even hurt a team, especially as relievers. I don't see the magic for Pittsburgh but maybe I'm wrong.

On the Cubbies, I would agree on the SP's cause there basicly are almost no 0.50 SP's from UNDRAFTED teams to begin with.

....but he's got a catcher already so there really is no urgency there. In fact he's got decent players OVER $1 mil at every fielding position.

I'm playing with SUB $1 mil players at BOTH SS and 3B as I'm sure others are playing sub $1 Mil guys at STARTING fielding positions because the team did not come with any players to use.

My only excess player (over $1 mil backup) was a 2nd catcher and a 4th Of'er.

Everyone "should" have 1 or 2 holes in their team.

We need a replacement for Pelzer.

I am willing to do a draft for all of the teams now that the Senators are available, order based on a random number generator.

I agree with Paco and Frankie, the Cubs should be allowed at least a >1M SP.

I'm cool with mine. Maybe we should take a quick poll to see who might want in on the Senators. If it's more than one, we can do a mini-draft or something.

Jett, I would agree with you on the Cubs SP, but *only* for SP (not their catcher).

Already bought my team and named it the DETROIT TIGERS :D

.....I'll stand pat.

Probably easier to find a 12th if Senators are available but if someone wants them now I don't care......I'm going to dominate the WEST anyway :P

I'll join if you'll have me. I can be ready to enter tonight. Senators would be nice if one of you doesn't want them.
