I'd say yes, but you still can't go over 80M now (knowing that you'll correct it later).

Don't know if that was your point, but just taking it in that direction to make sure I'm getting it correctly.

I agree but I thought we could carry only 24 players if we wanted too. Just means one less draft pick in the draft right?

Unfortunately HAL isn't interested in hearing about your innovations. His mind is not a creative one.
Therefore, you must carry 25 players through the autodraft portion of the draft.

I have run awry of this before. We must draft 25 players, 15H and 10P, 5SP, 2C, etc. ( i.e. 7 free agents in this case) at or under the 80M cap. You can drop down later to 24 (after the autodraft), provided you stay within the 7/11 rules.

i guess I do not understand if leave off a one of my 1 mill dollar guys for a .5 guy and then pick up the .5 after waivers then why do I have to stay under teh 80 mill in the draft. 500,000 is 500,000. Not a big deal in the scheme of things.

There are no saved players (unless some team steals one of your keeper or drafted players "by accident" during the AD). Any player left off of your AD card is fair game to any team after the AD runs. That being said, you are welcome to drop down to a 24 man roster after the AD runs as long as you have the 7-11 manditory players on your roster.
