Hi Bill-
We draft 19 players and a stadium. You are gauranteed these players on your roster. When you set-up your team you select the 19 guys you drafted, then fill out the remaining 6 reserves using the autodraft function - we in essence compete for players to fill those last six roster spots. Then after the autodraft is run we frenzy for any final adjustments to our rosters, adding and dropping however you'd like.

Make sense?

Welcome NTW!

We are just one away now. The clock can be set to any limit we want. The default is 4 hours and I think we should use that unless there is an objection. But note: usually the first round has no limit, as some people may not know the draft is running if they haven't checked-in that day. Once everyone has made their first pick the clock will be set at 4 hours, but hopefully we can all keep an eye on it and make it go a lot faster.

Any objections to the 4 hour limit after round 1? And yes, that clock only runs during the day M-F (not sure of the hours).

I will be able to set the draft up as soon as we get a 12th owner and will set-up a separate chat area under the individual league chat board.

Let's have some fun fellas and make this a good league!

I also wanted to pose the question to folks about a DH rule. With the $200MM cap, there will be a lot of potential good DH's on peoples' benches. I am OK with going DH, but let's throw it to a vote. Please state your preference next to your sign-up name and we will go with the majority.

Please keep an eye on this thread, hopefully we will start drafting sometime tomorrow! If anyone knows a potential 12th owner, send them a message.

RJNewman - can you ask Gordie Howe to post something on this thread so I can have access to his PM if I need to contact him? Thanks.

Thanks!

I just finished a 70's draft and am in the middle of an 80's draft on SOM draft
the proxies aren't firing and we therefore have no time limit, this may become an issue for those in a rush. Expect the draft to take the better part of a week. If we can start Monday we may be able to load in time for the following week's play.
Again, my user name is JETT_BLACK at the somdraft site.

OK, thanks for the word JB! I wonder if it's the way they were set-up or a malfunction?

I vote no DH!
