That could be a very expensive task if prices at Target Field are the same (or worse) than they were at the Dome!

My user name doesn't have anything to do with Wacky Tabacky, if that's what you were thinking! I used this name to play online poker years ago and was to mean 'get out of my poker pot'. Everyone takes it to mean 'stay out of my weed' though. I wish I could change it, lol.

you guys are complaining about prices in Minnesota??? My Mets (not METropolitan stadium) tix that I buy into behind home plate (20 rows back now) are over 200 per game per seat....top that
(And I just forked over a heck of a lot of dough for seat liscenses at the new Jets stadium)

When we move back to the US next summer I expect to be able to score seats 20 rows behind home plate for about $30 for our home team...

What team could that be?

I'd expect ticket prices to be more expensive in NY . . . larger population, higher demand, higher cost of living, higher salaries, etc. I was complaining about beer prices at the ballgames in MN. I figured they would be higher in NY too, but I just did a search on ballpark beer prices in MLB and I'd have been wrong. It surprisingly costs more for a beer at a Twins game than it does at a Mets game (and more than most other ballparks too).

And sorry about the A's.... But you have the rich tradition of Charles O Finley and 1972-74! The Fingers strikeout of Bench in the '72 WS is one of my most memorable plays of all time (the mock intentional walk).

And the orange baseballs, and the little mechanical rabbit (was it a rabbit?) that delivered new baseballs to the umps. Finley was a classic!

We'll keep the hotel. The local staff do most of the work anyway and the income will be very much needed as we try to re-establish in the US. I've been out since 1997.

I'm an A's fan by default as I'm originally from Philly. The A's were already in Kansas City when I was born, but still, they were Philly's real ballclub back in the day.
