Below is a rather awkward snapshot of the items available in the "Manager Strategy" section of the game. You can generally set your team for a variety of features (like Base Running, Base Stealing, Infield In, etc.).
Each individual player can be set as well (for example, you can set a slow-footed to "conservative" Base Running, but if you have one speed demon (Joe Morgan, as an example), you can set his individual characteristics to "Very Aggressive".
There are two pre-set lineups (one versus RHP and one versus LHP). There are a few ways to set up your pitching rotation as well.
