C ratings, the simplist way to think of them is this way.....
Where an "R" Rating = innings
"C" ratings refer to outs
The C rating comes into play, the MOMENT a closing situation occurs, which is NEVER before the 9th inning
So at the least, you want a C3 (3 outs, 1 inning, get it?)
Getting a C5 or C6 is good, if you plan on playing alot of extra inning games.
If your closer is a C1 enters the 9th inning in a save situation, the next batter, after an out occurs, your pitcher will be fatigued....
Same thing for a C2, next batter after 2 outs, and he is fatigued
