I had left a message on Page 1 with concerns about not being able to get players to fill positions with 24 managers. I've been in 6 drafts and I'm positive this is an issue. If using a <100AB player as a starter isn't an issue I would suggest looking at it.

At this point, though it doesn't appear to matter I'll stay out.

Might as well make my first 69 team right and get my arse handed to me early. Being in the 36 team league, I had the lowest salary of the 36, yup, came in last place, but also had Cobb in the Record Book for BA (not sure if its still there or not). Team was competitve, I think around 69 or 72 wins or so. It was a blast. Started Hegan at catcher and Groat at SS I think. Yes, we will hafta use some cheapies to start, but so did the real teams of 1969. Thats part of the fun!!

SneezeDoc, You need to either change your lottery state from MA or specify that you want to use the MA play 4 number using the first 3 or last three numbers. MA does not have a pick 3 game. Go to www.lotteryusa.com to see the states that do.

I've avoided drafts of this length in the past...so it's time I got my feet wet. Will give me a good reason to analyze all those sub $1m guys.

I went to that site and I am not clear how to find the states that have Pick 3's....I was picking a state close to my home of NY (since it was already picked by the time I signed up 4th)...either please someone GIVE ME AN ELIGIBLE unpicked state (I am not picky).....or give me the FIRST THREE NUMBERS of the PICK 4)

Sneezedoc, I live in NH. NH, MA and Maine go in together for a tri-state pick 3 lottery. I see Bigmahon has chosen NH, and you chose MA. One of you can go with the tri-state numbers, and the other could choose Missouri, which I believe has a pick 3 daily.
