[quote:b8a916c5e9="GordieHowe"]Once we submit our 12 protected players, do we draft them on somdraft.com, so we'll know who's available [/quote:b8a916c5e9]

I have a downloaded spreadsheet of all the 1969 players. I was planning to simply delete the selected players and keep the spreadsheet current as people pick so that I knew who was available but I'm game for anything.

Yes, let's just keep track or we can share a spreadsheet like in the auction. somdraft wouldn't work, or it would be a pain to exclude 144 players (the 12 reserved palyers per team).

One to go!

If anybody wants the spreadsheet you can download it yourself or send me your email and I'll send it to you.

The spreadsheet is actually on the TSN Strat website, but it's difficult to find. The easiest way for me (not the sharpest tool in the shed) is to not log in to Strat and go to the 1969 homepage (if you're logged in you get sent to your teams page). It's in the lower right hand corner.

I took the Giants because I get killed in these kinds of leagues, so I thought I'd take a team I rooted for and get killed...

That's funny Ugrant, I did the exact same thing. I don't particularly like the strato cards for the '69 Cubs, but I was a huge Cubbie fan in those days when I was young lad living in southern Wisconsin. WGN used to show all the games. I've tried to block out the Cubbie collapse vs. the Mets, but games like this keep reminding me...what could have been. I'm not confident with my Cubbies, but hopefully the supplemental guys will make a difference on my team.

I didn't pick the Giants because Bonds, Mays and Dietz are a bad fit for Candlestick. They should have put the stadium in the East Bay because night games in Candlestick is like playing baseball in the artic.

I like the Cubs and they won it all in a theme league where Bonds was added. It was the first time I ever played Bernie Williams and he totally lit it up batting .332 with 32 HR in 627 AB. He outhit Bonds and, strangely, had fewer errors (9 vs 12). Williams was second on my team in SLG% behind Shamsky. My infield was pure Cubs. Pitching wasn't nearly as good as I thought it'd be, but I guess that's life in Wrigley.

Welcome sneeze and we are full! Please send me your 12 reserved players from your franchise, either via PM or e-mail XXXXX. I have received ehlkev and ugrants already, but won't look until I can send mine out - will send to LMB and Risden.

Thanks all - will check back after I have the lists and corresponding draft order!
