New 1969 roto style auction sign up league full

Our historical single season sets

As reluctant commisioner I will set the rules shortly

80 million real dollars to match set and no keepers is one option. Option 2 =3/5 keepers playoff/non playoff with same 100 million another option. If we go with 80 and no keepers will be able to recruit a manager quickly and will be easier. If everyone will confirm they will be in for next league as well we could compromise and go with option 1 now and option 2 with 80 million cap in league to follow. Final thoughts?Want to be all inclusive.RJ

Hard to know which way to go without knowing who my keeper options are, not having been in the last league.

Still need two managers. One thing I would like to change would be to consider 6 batters and 4 pitchers up at all times to speed things up. Does anybody object to that change?

I would be interested in joining if this was a "start over" league with no keepers. If so, sign me up.

let me know. :D :D

I've done a few auction leagues with 5 hitters and 3 pitchers that seemed to work with no problem. The issues come at the end of the draft when you are running out of money and are forced to choose only one of multiple guys to bid on because you are out of money. Late in the draft 10 guys out there at once can cause problems.

I'm okay with 5-3. Agree with Paul, 6-4 could get messy.

So sounds like no keepers and that is perfect. But 5-3 for active players on the block at any given time is too many for my liking. I had stated earlier that 3 hitters and 2 pitchers (as we started in the first leaguer) is best in my view. It's summer and sounds like all are busy - let's go with 3/2 and enjoy the ride - marathon, not a sprint. At 5/3 or 6/4 if you miss a 24 hour period you lose too many players.
