Do I draft a team from the American League East? or from the National League East?

Rick,

You can draft any team from the Al East, NL East or NL West.

Austin, the draft will be here on the message board.

Rick, the Orioles are the only team that don't get any draft picks because their free agent budget is $0. However, trading for non-free agent players is allowed. So, for example, assuming someone drafts the Pirates, you could trade any Oriole (let's say Rettenmund) to the Pirates for a Pirate player (let's say Dock Ellis) but not for a free agent on the Pirates.

As a general announcement, draft picks can be traded. That is part of the fun of one of these drafts. The free agent limits still apply. For example, you can't make a trade that results in your team having more than 8 free agents.
