Thanks for taking me on! :D Just to clarify: This is a 25mil, no DH, auto draft, and you are/aren't losing the 20% from the 25 when you release a player? Is it Option A or B? I vote A if it matters.

The more I think about it Option A sounds better no penalty just keep roster at or below 25 mil so I guess I change my vote

well we've finally filled the league. Now the fun starts.

I must admit, I too have been thinking about the A or B option. If it is permitted, I think I will switch my vote to A.

Either, let's draft and play ball!

Option A sounds good to me too.

Who has some ideas on how to get this started?

I recommend that if we 12 are ready to go that we get a final tally on the Option A vs. B. Several have changed their allegiance and I'm thinking now we are about 6-6. Is ugrant back on board yet? How is this done? Does Rick create a league that we all join I assume? How does this get policed as far as the 25 mil cap? Honor system? Too many questions?

With regard to the 25 mil cap. The league is definitely honor system. So no one should ever go over the cap. But if it does happen, then I suggested a penalty so that the mistaken owner doesn't get an unfair advantage. The commish, Rick Smith seems to have accepted the following rule:

the owner must cut salary to match or exceed the amount over, and play at the cut level for twice as long as the time as the team was over.

Is ugrant back on board? If so, it looks like we could be full.

In terms of draft strategy, I need to know whether it is option A or B. It makes a big difference to me since if we go with A, I plan on making lots of moves. And I really need to know that we will keep to option A for the season. I am ok with either A or B, and I could switch my choice to A if we need a majority to get started.

Here is my suggestion for getting started:

Once we (or the commish) decide A or B, then I think we can all draft a team and enter the league. Anyone could create a private league and post the password, then we're ready to go!

PS Is ugrant back and ready to play?

By my count option A has five votes and option B has four votes. Let's get started and we will proceed with option A, everyone will keep their roster at $25M or less throughout the regular season and playoffs. If they make transactions they cannot exceed $25M. That's easy to remember.

UGrant should be back on Monday or Tuesday. We can all get started submitting our rosters and UGrant can catch up when he returns.

Franky35, would you proceed with creating a private league and posting the passwork and then all of us can enter our teams.

Thank you
