Please accept my apology if I slow down the draft today: I have been called for jury duty (Wednesday). I do not know how often we get breaks, but I will do my best. The N.L. Draft has been slow (mostly due to me today), but I have come to one painful realization: The 1969 National Leaguers suck when compared to the A.L. guys in this game.

I miss the bargain-basement A.L. guys like Held, Hicks, Egan, Whitaker, Zolio, etc.
