Sneeze, your assumption is correct. You will be nominating players for other teams (i.e., players that you don't want on your team).
So, in round 1, I would expect that all of the nominated players would be 0.5 mil since those are the worst players.

draft order:
We will place a post for someone to run a randomizer sorting owners into positions 1-12.
The first position will nominate first in round 1 (also in rounds 3 and 5) with the nominating proceeding in serpentine order.
The last position will have the first draft pick. Order will also be serpentine.
Finally, can someone put a request up for a randomizer to be run to establish the order?
As commissioner, I would like to stay completely out of the determination of position.

Divisions:
divisions will be determined at the completion of the draft (that is, at the time the last pick is made). The East will be the 4 highest salary teams and the West, the 4 lowest salary teams. Trades during the draft will be figured in total salary, while subsequent trades won't affect divisions.

First step: The player pool will be established in 5 rounds on the message board. In round 1, each owner will nominate 8 players of any value;
round 2: 3 players of .51 mil or greater, plus a stadium;
round 3: 4 players of 1.01 or greater;
round 4: 4 players of 2.01 or greater;
round 5: 4 players of 3.01 or greater.
Your goal is to nominate the worst 8 players that are available. Remember, you can not draft any of the players that you nominate.
If anyone needs help selecting players, I would be glad to offer suggestions.
