The NL West and the NL East could start their divisional drafts. Houston and Philly go first in their respective drafts.

I thought the draft was serpentine. In my dull mind doesn't that mean Atlanta and NYM draft first?

The free agent drafts are serpentine starting with the lowest salary teams. In the second round of the free agent drafts, the highest salary teams go first. I think that is only fair to the low salary teams.

yep, that's how it was laid out. That definitely had an impact on which teams were selected.

Good luck to all on drafts. should we start new threads or do them all on this one?

So AllStarInc, Poppa Rock and Rjnewman are all up for picks.

The main thing going against the Giants is Candlestick Park. Their best hitters would do better in a different type park.

when we draft a free agent do we cut a guy at same time?

Postby Rjnewman » Wed Nov 16, 2011 9:52 pm

Or do we do it at end?

I think no cuts are made and you have the right to all players that were on your franchise....could be wrong here.
