Go ahead and set it up.

Aligned Franchises2
$100M
DH
Frenzy

Haven't used the Orioles so this should be my chance. They are solid but in this COMBO THEME they may be only as good as they appeared to be in the first league we played. Goal is 90+ wins.

ALIGNED FRANCHISES VER. 3

Postby rschwartz51 » Sat May 06, 2006 12:54 pm

Just an idea - Same as Aligned 2 but we go reverse order so that those drafting last can have a chance to draft high.

This will work if we have enough credits still out there and that us managers drafting high step up. I'll set up a separate thread.

John Law is up next

The main problem with the Baltimore/San Diego team is that all those sluggers have to play in either Balt or SD. Neither of those stadiums are kind to power hitters. Still they should be one of the strongest teams in the league.

Thanks Bbrool for making my pick for me. :D

I have suggestion to help competitive balance. I propose teams 7-12 get to select a player from the free agent pool after final cuts. This may not be alot, but it may help fill a hole or add a pitcher to the final roster. Just an idea. Also, please explain the process from here! Thanks. J Law

You can go ahead and create your AD card like you would in any league. Pick the 25 players you want from Oakland & LA. Be sure to change the salary cap from 80m to 100m before you start picking players. You can pick either Oakland Coliseum 1/1/6/6 or Dodger Stadium 5/5/12/12 as your home stadium.

When you get to that point you will not be able to join a league until it is created and the password is sent to you. Once you have the password go back to your team and select "join private league". Find the league name and select it. Type in the password and you are in the league!

After the draft you are free to drop or add players from your two teams as you wish.

It would be nice if you picked a team name that indicated what two teams you have like Oakland Dodgers or Los Angeles Athletics or the like.
