ALL IS WELL!! John just made his pick (a good one, by the way).

He wrote to me via PM that he is still out of the country on vacation, so his computer access and time is limited.

His vacation is the reason that we decided not to start this draft until January 14. Meanwhile, we are rolling into Round 8! :lol: :lol:

RE: GARY GENTRY - Wasn't he picked in this draft? When I look at the available pitchers, Gary Gentry appears on the list.

I have down that Ken Hutchings pulled him. Looks like in round 6, but it's not there now.

Looks like pick 66 is gone for Ken, Not sure if Ken can pick him again now. Or we can just leave it alone and everyone knows he is gone.

I think that I can remove Gentry from the pool of players as an administrator so that nobody accidentally drafts him. Do you know what happened to Gentry?

I see that there was some concern that I did not make my pick quickly. Please remember that we agreed to not START drafting until January 14th. I advised everyone that I am out of the country until the 12th. I advised everyone that I would have very limited Internet access. And I advised everyone that I would be in a meeting all day on the 15th without ANY possibility of making my pick. If these conditions for my participation are no longer acceptable, please advise.

I just noticed that, too, and I was going to post "Houston, we have a problem." At the time I originally drafted Gentry, I was being wishy-washy and clicked on the Drop shortly after I selected him, only he didn't drop at the time. It appears that it must have been a very delayed reaction on the part of the drafting program, as I eventually decided that I would keep him after all, and didn't make any other attempts to drop him.

It is my intention to retain Gentry, so if you can arrange to remove him from the pool of players I would greatly appreciate it.

John - Thanks for the note. This should NOT be an issue with anyone. The idea was to begin drafting on January 14 - we are miles ahead of schedule.
