I picked Kirby Pucket with my first pick... not a proxie... now I come back and I have Mike Witt. WTF

I set Witt as a proxie after I picked Puckett because went to a triple feature at the drive in with wife and a couple of the kids. Did he some how fire and replace Puckett.

Well, your second round pick may also be god-inspired as Von Hayes was/is a Mormon. You just might have to force him out on the field on Sundays.....but still a solid pick. We'll all vow to let you have Dale Murphy on your next pick so you can complete your holy triple threat.

if it helps any, ive had von hayes as my one and only proxy left (witt was the other!) with only three pix ahead of me since somewhere around dawn on the 4th of july...and I wake up to see the proxy cupboard bare, hoping that means I got the human toothpick and can start working on my third round pick for next thursday...but NOOOOO....doctax has to make an unannounced uninvited housecall and MAKE me sick instead of curing anything! :twisted: only consolation is im not in your division!

Are you serious about Puckett? I did not see any reason why he should fall to me. Did you really have him over Witt? Did the computer screw up? If it was a genuine mistake we can backup. I am going back to sleep for a few hours(I am a little hung over). I will check in before,after and during work. I am thinking of quitting my job so I can do this full time.

Just ribbing you stonewalled. I know this is your first live draft. If you set proxies then the site will pick a player for you to help the draft go faster. To do this click on "create a proxy". Under Pos: you can search remaining players by position or you can just start typing in a last name to get the ID number. When you find a player you would like type in the ID number in the player ID field. Always leave Round at 0. Group means that you can group like players. If you want a SS then you can list several SS as group 1. If you want a player from the Detroit Tigers you can list a few Tiger players as group 1. Get the idea?

Priority is self explainatory. Delete if group picked is very important. If you list 5 Detroit Tigers, but only want 1 on your team, list them all in the same group and by priority but be sure to click YES in the delete if group picked box. This way once a proxy pick is made from that group all the rest of your proxies in that group will be deleted. If you keep that response as NO then the site will continue to pick Tiger players for you until you pick them all or they have all been picked by others. See what I mean?

The proxy system is really easy to use. Don't be scared of it just be careful in how you set it up. Also I always leave spaces in my priority numbers. In a group I might set up the priorities as 1, 3, 5, etc. I am always second guessing myself so later I might want to put a different player ahead of someone else. You don't have to delete all your proxies if you leave room to insert other players later.

Sorry guys, I actually used proxy for my first pick as evidenced by my pick immediately after the one before me.

I actually have been looking at who to draft for over an hour lol ARGGHHH this is so stressful its fun. Its not just like picking a live draft because if u take a player you automatically are eliminating every other from the team. This takes a little extra thought :lol:

It won't take me as long as the draft progresses because the options are so unlimited right now. I am having a lot of fun tryiong to figure out what everyone might do and what I will have 15 picks from now to choose from. This is another reason for the extra time. With so many going to be picked before I go again, it makes the pick feel more stressful then deciding whether or not to have another child :P

I also had to decide if I pass up on Zuvella this round and hope he is around for another round.

Basically to sum up my feelings right now - :shock:


Ill keep it going in the future!!!!!!!!

If this is true(and he is not joking around) I feel really bad. Please let me know what is up with that. This is the reason I am afraid to set proxies. But I check in often enough that you will not have to wait long for me. If he really picked Pucket as his first proxy we need to fix this!
