Usally if you put a time limit on, this implies you can skip after that limit.
If not sorry about skipping LdanRed before.
But there generally is a no-skip time of after 10pm est you don't skip and you don't skip before 10 am est.
Tomorrow I'm with clients all day, I'll try to check in but may not be able to.
If my proxies give out and the time limit is reached please skip me.

Let's go with those rules. Between 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. est, selections must be made before the designated time on the draft site; if the selection has not been made, the draft can proceed in order, and the managers who were passed over will make their selections at their earliest opportunity.
It seems that most of the managers are using proxies. Let's see if we can get through Round 16 tomorrow and then finish up by Friday.

I disagree entirely with the decision to skip draft picks. That was not a part of the original rules and should not be instituted out of frustration. While it is great to have a draft move along, there is no good reason to be anxious to get it done. I think that we need to understand that people get stuck sometimes. I made my picks between visits to the hospital today and I could have easily gotten hung up there for more hours.
I oppose instituting a strict time line without that being a rule ahead of time. Maybe our complaining will get guys moving. But when someone says he is going to be in meetings all day and will do his best, that is good enough for me.

Since we can't have more than one representative per team, our choices are going to be limited each successive round. Hopefully most managers will use proxies to keep the draft moving, but if for some reason someone's schedule doesn't allow for him to monitor the draft, let's be patient and allow them their turn. This may possibly delay start of the league for a week, but it wouldn't be the first time I've had to wait.
The next few rounds are going to be very interesting.

I don't know if it's a problem that only I'm experiencing, but I've not been able to access the draft site this evening since about 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. :? :?

I guess Bob ran out of Proxies. He got the one pick and things has stopped.
I can't believe that Randy stole Ollie Brown from me. I vow revenge!
In any case, I just found out last night that I will have to be leaving town on Friday night and not returning home until Sunday night. I'm staying at a hotel in Wisconsin. They should have a computer/internet, but you never know if I will have a chance to use it or if I'll have access all weekend.
Since there's basically no way to have the draft done by Friday night, the further along, the better. I will load a ton of proxies, but because this is a one-per team league, my proxies may draft illegally.
I will try to make arrangements to see if one of my buddies from this league would help me out in case the draft gets stuck or my proxies draft wrong.
