Draft Protocol

Postby pwootten » Wed Sep 17, 2008 9:33 pm

A gentle reminder that the draft is for 5 "star" players. You have $25 M to spend and have to pick up 3 position players and 2 pitchers. After the 5th round we'll have a supplemental draft of the low budget players who were skipped when the teams were compiled. The list can be found back a few pages.

A few of you have sent me text message numbers and/or e-mail addresses, which I'll use. If you haven't and want to, feel free to PM me.

I'll set up the draft early tomorrow morning.

Questions

Postby Yellow_Dog » Wed Sep 17, 2008 11:11 pm

So, we need 11 pitchers and 14 position players for the SOM 86 draft. Do we actually need to draft 3 pitchers and 2 position players then during the star draft? I have 8 pitchers and 12 position players in my scrubs.

And I'm not sure why the Royals sent Jorge Orta to my Fall League team, seeing as he's a DH-only in a no-DH league. Pinch hitter I guess! And I puked in my mouth when I saw Bill Laskey's (RP) card vs. lefties. Bombs away!
