I know nobody has a clue; but just throwing this team out there, to see what people think. If you have any thoughts about what I'm doing right or wrong, love to hear 'em.

Vs. RHP
1. Carew 2b
2. Davis Cf
3. Taylor 1b
4. Oliva Rf
5. Reese Lf
6. Moses C
7. Pagan 3b
8. Kubiak ss

Vs. LHp
1. Carew
2. Taylor 1b
3. Lee May LF
4. Davis Cf
5. Pagan 3b
6. Oliva Rf
7. Moses C
8. Kubiak SS

SPs: Taylor, Maloney, Nelson, Chance, Griffin
RPs: Roland, Humphries, Dal Canton

Stadium: Shea (hr 9)

I figured I'd try the non-* pitchers right off to see if any are worth a damn. Yes, I have a weird May/Reese platoon, playing out of position in LF. Taylor's obp against lefties rocks; couldn't resist putting May's bat right behind him.

I'm just guessing here, but unless you face a lot of lefties in your division, using Lee May is a fairly large sum of money to be investing in a platoon candidate, especially considering his defense looks pretty awful in LF.

Five lefties ... and I'm otherwise pretty weak against them (Carew, Oliva, Moses all drop off considerably). Yeah, it's an expensive platoon, but it's not like there are upgrades out there at C, 3b, Ss to spend my money on. Incredibly bare cupboard. So I've got surplus cash, I guess.

I am playing in Shibe Park (RH power park) and have Lee May as my full-time 1B. Even though he is listed a 5L, I think he hits pretty good against RHP too. Especially when you can count those BPHR as HRs!
