Autodraft Question

Postby LMBombers » Sun Oct 02, 2005 6:55 pm

In the 2005 SOM game when you autodraft a player and don't get him you can easily figure out who you got instead. It is the highest salaried player with the same primary position. In this 1969 game I don't think the same rules apply. I have been in two autodrafts and had Killebrew on my list both times. Neither time did I get him and neither time could I tell you what player I was given instead. There were no relatively high salaried 1B or 3B, or any other position for that matter, on my roster in his place. Instead it appeared as if I got some 1-2M scrub at random and the rest of the money was banked for waivers.

Anybody else have similar results?

The 1 time I didn't get him I got George Scott autodrafted. Remember the fill in for players not gotten is after the draft is run so if the other owners lock up the more expensive 3rd basemen you will get a low price one.
