Padres win opening series against LA.

The Padres took 3 of 4 games against the Dodgers, with the only loss coming against the only RHSP we saw, Bob Welch.

Here's hoping I can maintain momentum and keep the Padres above .500 for the whole season. Taking each game at a time actually works in favor of the strat managers as we can tweak lineups, subs, settings etc for each game.

Good stuff all around and I hope Bill gets to turn that A's team around after some tough first couple of games.

Sykes, So far the Padres have been an offensive juggernaut! I think Garvey needs to be checked for illegal Popeye juice or something. Sheesh. :wink:
