<img src="http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/images/baseball/stratomatic/1986/story_photos/kc_world_series3_150x224.jpg" align="left" border="1" width="150" height="224" style="margin: 0px 10px;" /> Steve Balboni helped the Royals and Brett Saberhagen beat the Orioles 8-1. As seen in the picture that barely shows Balboni's jersey as he jumps around with team mates like they won the world series or something, they only played one game against each other.
Out West in a snafu of sorts, a double header in San Francisco went haywire with fog so dense, both managers sent the same starting pitchers out for both games!
The fog was in fact very thick in San Francisco as both managers could not even see their line-up cards in the dougout. As a result, when they went to home plate at the beginning of the night cap, they realized they had the same line-up cards from game 1!
"Once those cards are submitted, it's showtime" Vida Blue added after game 2. "Yeah my arm hurt, but sometimes you have to go a little extra. I'm surprised [url=javascript:openWindow('/baseball/1986/players/player.php?id=36343&year=1986', '_blank', 650, 550, 'scrollbars=yes');]Matt Keough<a/> wasn't complaining either."
