Reggie Jackson's Leadership is Apparent in Angels Win Streak[/size:b3f9f8177b]

<img src="http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/images/baseball/stratomatic/1986/story_photos/reggie_jackson_150x236.jpg" align="left" border="1" width="150" height="236" style="margin: 0px 10px;" /> The California Angels won again Sunday night, [u:b3f9f8177b]defeating the Kansas City Royals 9-6[/u:b3f9f8177b] for their 4th straight win and 10th in their last 11 games.

And while Reggie Jackson is used to leading his team on offense or in newspaper quotes, this year it is Jackson's leadership in the clubhouse that is most notable. Despite hitting .241 with just 18 RBI's (9th on the team), Reggie seems rejuvenated, and if his smiles are any indication he is having the time of his life so far in the 1986 season. Considering their 44-25 record, it would seem the rest of the Angels are as well.

Elsewhere Sunday Night: The Toronto Blue Jays [u:b3f9f8177b]slipped past the N.Y. Yankees 2-1[/u:b3f9f8177b], thanks to a 9th inning RBI single from 2B Damaso Garcia. Philadelphia's Darren Daulton hit a 2 run HR in the bottom of the 9th to propel the Phillies to a [u:b3f9f8177b]4-3 comeback win over the Cardinals[/u:b3f9f8177b]. In the N.L. West, the Padres increaded their lead to 7.5 games over the Astros after their [u:b3f9f8177b]6-2 win over the Dodgers[/u:b3f9f8177b].
