Your SP is ok but those natural hr's may take their toll . I like the make up of the hitting side . I would think a .500 season at least , but who knows !

I don't like Strawberry either in Royals or as a DH. You get more bang for your buck with using a poor fielder at DH. I would downgrade some of your backup players and upgrade some of your low salary starting players. Your pitching looks pretty good. You just need to maximize your starting offensive players a little more.

strawberry is not a starter on this team, gwynn is the right fielder. strawberry is tradebait or my ph against rh pitchers. i have been offered orel for him and i am thinking about it. his whip is a little higher than blylevens though so i am on the fence.

all the high priced players of value are gone. million goes along way in the '86 game.

You cannot go into the season with Strawberry as your PH vs RHP. If you do you have really wasted your cap room. You either have to drop him for somebody else or trade him in the preseason.

Amen to what he just said! Strawberry has to play or you are not using your money correctly. Therefor trade him ,or if you can not trade him DH him. Although they are correct about bad fielders make better DHs ....money wise.
