Tartabull's defense scares me but for the money you probably couldn't do better there in the Kingdome. I don't like Gladden in CF. You have two choices here. Either move Barfield over to CF where he is a 2 and get a corner OF or get a better defender in CF. It's not like Gladden is an offensive gem anyway so just go for better defense there with maybe some OBP or speed.
I only see 4's at the corner OF spots in that price range so I would go for the CF. I would reccomend:
McGee
Wilson
Reggie Williams
Otis Nixon
Milt Thompson
over Gladden in CF.

Playing the Kingdome seems risky to me, because 1986 leans toward pitcher parks and most of the sluggers are pretty park-dependent. It's tough to put together a dominant Fenway 67 type lineup that can also win away from home. I think you could use one or two more sluggers.
For what it's worth, here's my lineup for a Kingdome team. They're doing fine at home but lousy away so far.
1 Randolph
2 Phelps
3 Walling
4 Carter
5 McReynolds
6 Baines
7 Ashby
8 Franco
I use Hendrick, Carmelo Martinez, Laudner against lefties. It's easy to find lefty killers with real pop.

I would get out of the Kingdome with that lineup. It seems better suited to Fenway or the Met. Gladden should go in CF, Otis, my man, is a great value for CF.
