Tomorrow is the deadline for waiver wire pickups and Sunday is the day for the stadium. Any thoughts on either is appreciated.

Not a bad start . Your team seems to be leaning a tad left handed so get a park like Fenway ,which favors LH's .

Thanks. I had read a previous post about Eric Davis not performing well except for one guy who had him in Fenway. I'd hate to pick a park for one guy, but it makes sense to do it to favor the overall lineup.
Anyone else want to weigh in?

I think your starters may do you in. Too much relief. Two real good guys is more than enough. maybe try to trade one for a pretty good starter.

I think your team is pretty good, too. And I agree that you have too much pen. I would dump one RP, downgrade another, and improve the SP. In Fenway, you are going to give up more hits just because of the park, so don't expect your SPs to be lights out, but you want some quality. Don't destroy your pen, you will need it, but you may want to give yourself a solid sixth SP (not Woodward) and then a situational 7th SP so that you can find the right matchups as the season progresses. I'm not a fan of setting a pat 5-man rotation when playing in a hitters park.

Thigpen and Murphy are very similar types of RP . Both get out LH better than RH. I would downgrade one of the 2 for a decent RHRP who is an R on balance . The extra $$$ could get you a better SP . Your team looks pretty solid overall but Fenway can make any pitcher look bad ,so don't take pitchers getting beat up now and then as a "bad " thing . @ FW it's going to happen no matter who's pitching .
